  • Compile aggregate data about site traffic and interactions to offer improved experiences; trusted third-party services may also track this on the site’s behalf

Users can configure their browser to warn when cookies are sent or to disable them entirely via browser settings. Disabling cookies may cause some features to stop functioning.

6. Third Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information without advance notice. Exceptions include website hosting partners and other parties assisting in operating the website or servicing users, provided those parties agree to keep the information confidential. Information may also be released to comply with the law, enforce site policies, or protect rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

7. Third party links

Occasionally, third-party products or services may be included or offered. These third-party sites maintain separate, independent privacy policies. We hold no responsibility or liability for linked sites’ content and activities but welcome feedback about them.

Google

Google’s advertising requirements align with Google’s Advertising Principles, meant to deliver a positive user experience. We, alongside third-party vendors like Google, use first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers to compile data about user interactions with ad impressions and related ad service functions.

Opting out: Users can set Google advertising preferences via the Google Ad Settings page, or opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add-on.

8. Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

We comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and the CAN-SPAM Act. Personal data is collected and processed only on lawful bases such as consent, legitimate interest, or service fulfillment. EU/EEA residents have rights to access, correct, and request deletion of data. California residents may request to know, delete, or opt out of the “sale” of personal information under CCPA.

Email Communications:

  • Marketing: Marketing emails are sent only to users who have opted in; every such email contains an unsubscribe link. Users can also unsubscribe from the My Account page.
  • Transactional: Essential service-related messages (e.g., password resets) may still be sent even after opting out of marketing emails.

Exercising Your Rights: Users may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time or request to access, update, or delete personal information from the My Account page or by contacting us. Practices are regularly reviewed for ongoing legal compliance.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is noted as the first state law requiring commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. It applies to any person or company operating websites that collect PII from California consumers, mandating a conspicuous privacy policy detailing what information is collected and with whom it is shared.

According to CalOPPA, we agree: users can visit the site anonymously; a link to the privacy policy will appear on the home page or the first significant page after entering the website; the link includes the word “Privacy” and can be easily located.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

COPPA places parents in control regarding collection of personal information from children under 13, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission. We state that our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
